Nivo puts the Dynamic Island on your Mac — a small island near the menu bar that expands when it has something to say and stays out of the way when it does not. Media controls sync live from Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube and the major browsers, with album art and animated waveforms. Local weather animates behind it — rain, snow, golden hour — with no GPS and no API that wants your location. Your next meeting is one click from the native calendar. Pomodoro and focus timers run on a glowing progress bar. Ten-plus keyboard sound packs, CherryMX through EG Crystal, at low enough latency to be worth having. Notes save to a local SQLite file, searchable and sortable, and work offline. Nothing leaves the machine: no servers, no telemetry, no trackers. Free forever, no account. macOS 14 or later, Apple Silicon only — and it is unsigned, so the first launch takes a trip through System Settings.
